SURPRISE!  Our brand new worship seating is in!  A special thank you to everyone who helped clear out our old pews and bring in our new chairs.  It was quite a job since we were trying to keep the arrival of the chairs a secret from most of the congregation.  Also, a special thank you to everyone who helped make this new seating possible by giving generously.  And don't worry our old pews are not going to waste.  Right now they are on their way to Wyoming to be used by a church in need.  Please join us at Boulevard Christian Church this week to help us fill up our new seating.  The new chairs are very comfy, but please don't fall asleep on us.

 

July 14th-19th will be remembered as one of the best six day stretches in the history of Boulevard Christian Church.  BCC was proud to host our Power Lab Vacation Bible School from July 14th-18th and it was awesome!  We had 64 kids come to Power Lab and over 40 teen and adult volunteers.  During Power Lab everyone discovered Jesus' miraculous power through worship, games, crafts, snacks, skits, videos, and Bible adventures.  Our building was literally transformed for Power Lab, just like the hearts of all those who attended were transformed by the power of God.  During the week we had contest between the boys and the girls to see who could raise the most money for our mission of the week, Indian Lake Christian Service Camp.  The winners had the chance to slime our Youth Minister, Charles. It was a back and forth contest, but in the end the boys raised an amazing $441.37 to win the competition.  The girls also did an awesome job raising $332.24, which brought the total money raised to $773.61, a new Boulevard VBS record! Then on Saturday, July 19th, we had our Block Party. Over 200 people attended this special afternoon that included water games, a DJ, a dunk tank, food, and much more.
